    Job description

    REGISTERED NURSE

    About the Role

    A contract Registered Nurse position at the hiring organization in Omaha, NE. The role is onsite and requires the nurse to provide comprehensive patient care, perform medication administration, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct patient assessment and deliver ongoing care.
    • Administer medications safely and accurately.
    • Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation and coordination of care.
    • Perform clinical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
    • Implement infection control and prevention measures.
    • Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively.
    • Apply critical thinking and clinical decision‑making in patient care.
    • Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

    Requirements

    • Registered Nurse license.
    • Proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and EHR usage.
    • Knowledge of infection control, clinical documentation, and regulatory compliance.
    • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
    • Ability to think critically and make sound clinical decisions.
    • Current BLS or CPR certification.
