    Job description

    Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)

    About the Role

    The Sterile Processing Technician will work on a contract basis for the hiring organization. This onsite position is based in Columbus, OH, and focuses on maintaining a sterile environment for medical equipment and supplies.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of medical instruments.
    • Inspect instruments for damage and ensure proper labeling.
    • Maintain inventory of sterilization supplies and equipment.
    • Follow hospital and regulatory protocols for sterile processing.
    • Operate and troubleshoot sterilization equipment.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.
    • Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control standards.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team and adhere to safety guidelines.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
