• Newborn admitting nurse experience
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions and patient outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide education and support to patients and families
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow evidence-based nursing practices, hospital policies, and safety standards
Required Skills:
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Basic computer and clinical documentation skills
Required Qualifications:
• Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Active RN License (Single State or Compact)
• Current BLS Certification
• At least 2 years of High-Risk Labor & Delivery nursing experience OR Circulator experience
• Direct patient care experience preferred
