About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team with our hospital partner on a contract basis. As a mid-level nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care to new mothers and their families. This is an onsite position, located in the United States, offering a competitive salary range of $14,000-$15,000.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized care for patients in the labor and delivery unit
- Conduct routine checks on patients, including monitoring vital signs, fetal heart rates, and labor progress
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists, to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documentation of medical history, treatment plans, and progress
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the United States
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing
- Strong knowledge of obstetric and neonatal nursing principles, practices, and procedures
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
